We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our newest students, Aly Chacón, who has already made an incredible start in the Cuenca English Club. Aly joined us at the beginning of August and immediately showed the kind of determination that changes a young person’s future.
All month long — even through the two‑week holiday break — Aly completed an extraordinary number of IXL lessons. Her effort, consistency, and quiet discipline stood out so clearly that she earned our Breakthrough Award, given to students who make a major leap forward in their learning.
One of the photos shows Aly on her own, and the second captures the moment Lorena presented her with the award — a simple, beautiful reminder of how hard work gets recognized in our program.
Aly’s progress is inspiring all of us. We’re so proud to welcome her into the English Club and excited to see where her dedication takes her next.
