Each year, our English Club hosts a karaoke contest, and it’s about more than just singing. For younger students, karaoke is the first step toward public speaking: learning to hold a microphone, project their voices, and gain confidence while performing their favorite songs in English.
This year, 17 students competed with energy and courage. Three winners stood out:
Alan (age 9) — Junior Division Champion Brianna (age 10) — Intermediate Division Champion Paulina (age 17) — Senior Division Champion
Each winner received $10, but the real reward was confidence and joy. We’re proud of every student who took the stage and made their voices heard.
